Honey Crockpot Chicken

- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, coconut aminos, hoisin sauce, honey, minced garlic, and 2 tsp white pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Add the chicken thighs to the crockpot. Season with salt and the remaining white pepper, then pour the sauce mixture over the chicken. Flip the chicken to coat it evenly.
- Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
- In the last 15 minutes of cooking, whisk together the arrowroot flour and water, then stir it into the sauce to thicken. Cover and let cook for the remaining 15 minutes.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and mix it into the sauce.
- Serve warm over rice with a veggie of choice (we love roasted broccoli with this!) and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onion.
