- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare the ground beef. in a pan over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and break apart into small pieces with the end of a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until brown and no longer pink.
- Add diced onion to the ground beef and saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Drain any excess grease from the meat and add a handful of shredded cheese. Mix to combine and melt. Once the cheese is melted, set the meat aside.
- Prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, combine mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and a dash of pickle juice.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and add the bottom half to a baking sheet or baking dish.
- Spread the sauce to the bottom layer of the bread. Top with the ground beef mixture. Sprinkle the cheese on top of ground beef.
- Add the tops of the rolls to the burgers. Brush with melted butter and garnish with sesame seeds.
- Place them in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven.
- Serve warm, slice, and enjoy!
