BLT Pasta Salad

Instructions
- Prepare the vinaigrette. In a blender or food processor, combine 1 cup fresh basil, 1/2 shallot, 3 garlic cloves, 2 tsp honey, 1/2 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and set aside.
- Prepare the bacon. In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooked, set aside on a paper towel to absorb excess grease. Once the bacon has cooled, crumble or chop into small pieces.
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and set aside.
- Assemble the pasta salad. In a large bowl, add the cooked pasta and drizzle with the basil vinaigrette to your liking. Top with sliced cherry tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and bacon crumbles. Toss well to combine.
- Serve immediately or chilled.
